Steam locomotive
Used in East Texas lumber industry (circa 1895). Standing in the engine is Grant Sherman HAMERLY (1865-1896), an engineer who was killed in an all-too-common boiler explosion. He is buried in the Doucette (Texas) Cemetery. The other man is unidentified.
